Presidential pets are honored in various Presidential libraries and enshrined in the National Archives right along with their famous owners. The pets of our Presidents have ranged from dogs and cats to chickens, goats, tiger cubs, a bear, a badger, and alligators. Come along with us for a fun look at the lighter side of Presidential history. Information on animal care, conservation, and control will be offered from the USDA, the main agency supervising animal welfare and control in the United States. Pet adoption and care information will also be covered from a variety of local and state government sources.
