Title: Now What?!: We Have an Estimate of the Size of Our Uncataloged Collection but What’s Our Plan for Cataloging It?

In 2019, the University of Kentucky Libraries wanted to find out the size of the uncataloged portion of its collection. The Regional Depository Librarian and her predecessor created a procedure to do this by comparing a spreadsheet of items in the catalog and physical measurements of the collection.

Now that we have an estimate of the number of uncataloged items, we need to formulate a plan of attack. This presentation will give the background of how we established our estimate and the steps we are taking to address this monumental cataloging/inventory project.
