A report can include analysis, recommendations, and a detailed executive summary of a timely issue, emerging topic, or critical problem. Free access is available to many of the reports in databases from Federal agencies such as NASA, the National Technical Information Service (NTIS), Department of Defense, and Department of Energy. Digitization efforts such as TRAIL and HathiTrust can provide access to earlier material.
