Title: Using The DOE Data Explorer (DDE) To Find DOE-Funded Research Data

Speaker:

  • Sara Studwell, Librarian and Product Manager, Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI)

Description:

This webinar introduces the DOE Data Explorer (DDE), OSTI’s search tool enabling users to locate and access research data resulting from DOE research and development activities. DDE was redesigned in 2017 to better reflect data hierarchies and display meaningful relationships, improving the search experience and helping users explore even more relevant data. Viewers will learn about DDE and how to use the search tool, as well as DOE’s Data ID Services for registering datasets with DOIs to promote citation, discovery, retrieval, and reuse.
