Description:

In April and July of 2020, GPO and DLC hosted open forums for libraries to share challenges, express concerns, and offer solutions to better help the library community cope during these difficult times. As we move through the Fall with students, parents, and educators navigating online learning and in-person classrooms, our work environments continuing to change, and all types of libraries trying to balance service and safety, we are dealing with the fatigue and burnout this prolonged crisis has created, embracing new ways of living and working, and wondering what the future holds for ourselves and our libraries. This forum welcomes all perspectives and seeks to capture what has happened since the July forum. The moderators will discuss experiences at a variety of library types.
