Learning outcomes: Come learn about the Government’s Open-File Report series: “Why" are they called Open Files? “How” are they published? “Where” are they indexed? “Who” publishes them? Join Emily as she describes the interesting yet challenging aspects of her experience as an author and colleague reviewer for over 200 Open-File Reports when she worked for the United States Geological Survey (USGS) as a hydrologist and a librarian (physical scientist). Attendees will also learn the connection of Open-File Reports to the “Open” access publications and data initiatives.
Speaker: Emily C. Wild, Chemistry and Geosciences Librarian, Princeton University Library
