The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) is pleased to announce that the long-awaited launch of FDLP Data Manager (FDM) will take place in the coming weeks. FDM is the replacement tool for Documents Data Miner (DDM3), the popular collection management tool formerly hosted by Wichita State University and used by many libraries in the FDLP.

FDLP Data Manager (FDM) features:

  • Tangible shipment information back to 1997.
  • Full List of Classes information (including title, SuDoc, item number, and format information).
  • MARC records, available for download in .MRC format (including downloading catalog records based on a library’s item selection profile).

FDM will debut later this winter. Stay tuned for upcoming information about training opportunities and about the launch.

The staff at GPO extends our thanks to the staff at Wichita State University for their many years of work on DDM3.
