Annual Cycle to Evaluate Print Selections

Depository libraries should evaluate their Unlimited distribution (UNL) paper-format selections. If your library no longer wishes to receive a selected title, please deselect it at any time. If your library wishes to receive an unselected UNL, you have until midnight, Wednesday, September 30, 2026, to add any UNL items to your library’s item selection profile.

New paper-format selections will become effective on Thursday, October 1, 2026 (Federal fiscal year 2027).

If your library is satisfied with your current selections, no action is required in response to this message.

  • EL-format item numbers may be added to your library’s selection profile at any time of the year. These selections go into effect immediately after you add them within DSIMS.
  • All item number deselections you make in DSIMS also take effect immediately.
