Biennial Survey Now Open

The 2025 Biennial Survey of Federal Depository Libraries is now open for completion by all Federal depository libraries. It is through this mechanism that depositories fulfill their legal obligation to “report to the Superintendent of Documents at least every two years concerning their condition” (44 USC §1909).

Today, Monday, September 22, 2025, an email with a link to the survey was sent to all depository coordinators or, if the position is vacant, the library director.

The deadline to complete the survey is Friday, November 14, 2025.
