Update on Depository Item Selection Tools

The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) is working on an initial data cleaning effort necessary to migrate data from DDIS (our legacy mainframe system used to manage depository selection information) into our new system, the Depository Selection Information Management System (DSIMS). Due to this effort, the expected launch date of the new DSIMS interface to the FDLP is being moved to Monday, March 5, 2012.

This effort is necessary to convert 30 years of legacy data into a format that will be accepted by the new system. GPO expects some additional data cleaning to continue after the launch of the new system.
