Revised Superseded Guidelines Released

GPO has revised the Guidelines for Superseding Depository Publications. In addition to enumerating the supersession criteria, the guidelines incorporate examples that assist in determining if a publication meets the criteria for supersession as well as best practices to consider before superseding a title.

The guidelines are effective as of Monday, June 21, 2010 and supersede the guidelines that accompanied the 2002 Superseded List.
