Libraries are currently facing many challenges including reduced budgets and staffing, library space repurposed away from bookshelves and, the need to keep pace with the rapid turnover of web based information. Increasing a library’s online emphasis can help respond to these challenges.

On Thursday, October 14th, 2010 at 2:00PM EDT, Kathy Bayer, Senior Outreach Librarian in Education and Outreach will host the October session of "Chat with GPO" via OPAL. This month's session is entitled, "Going More or Mostly Electronic - Part II: Options and Opportunities.” Various strategies for making this move will be discussed, and questions from the audience will be taken. If warranted, a further “question and answer” session may be scheduled for later in the fall.

Space is limited to the first 100 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. GPO recommends arriving at least 10 minutes early in order to reserve your spot and test your connection.
