Microfiche CFR Distribution
The microfiche Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), AE 2.106/3:; item no. 0572-C, is experiencing some delay in distribution. Necessary contractual modifications expected to be completed before distribution was affected did not occur. Additional issues have arisen from company restructuring and physical move of the production facility from Ohio to Michigan. National Archive Publishing Company (NAPC) is now NA Publishing.
The Crowley Company is now handling the production of microfiche. Conversion of publications from the December 2009 and January 2010 time frame that were at NAPC through all the changes has been resumed by the Crowley Company. Libraries should begin to see CFR fiche again in July and increasing numbers in August as production ramps up again and the backlog is addressed. We estimate 3-4 months to work through the backlog while keeping up with current publications.
