FDLP Forecast Webinar

AN IMPORTANT OPPORTUNITY FOR FDLP LIBRARIES

Please join GPO on June 12th from 1:30 – 2:30pm (Eastern) for an informational webinar about the FDLP Forecast Study. The Forecast Study is an important way for GPO to plan for the future of the FDLP. Your viewpoints and data are vital to this project and serve to enrich our understanding of the community’s issues. Time is running out to participate in this important study to help shape the future of the FDLP. If you have not had the opportunity to attend a virtual session or if you have questions about the study and the process that you would like to ask Forecast team members, we encourage you to attend our upcoming virtual Forecast Q&A webinar.

This Forecast webinar will offer an opportunity to ask questions about the Forecast study and how you can participate. We will discuss how to complete an FDLP Library Forecast, a State Forecast, and how to determine state or Federal depository region level goals and initiatives which will be documented in a State Focused Action Plan. This session will feature DLC chair Shari Laster and former DLC chair James Jacobs discussing how FDLP members in Ohio and California have organized efforts to participate in this study.
GPO has facilitated approximately thirty virtual sessions with Depository Coordinators and facilitated the completion of Forecast questionnaires and State Focused Action Pans.  We are pleased to be able to facilitate this important discussion of the future of the FDLP in a webinar with members of the FDLP community.
