  • Learning outcomes:  The webinar will introduce you to Queens Library and the New Americans Program, including highlights of our major activities with a special focus on English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Citizenship. You will also learn about our cultural and coping skills programming, including the recently added ”Know Your Rights” workshops, added in light of current immigration enforcement. We will also present our recently completed Institute of Museum and Library Sciences (IMLS ) training grant for public service staff on providing the best service possible to immigrant customers in a digital environment.
  • Expected level of knowledge for participants: No prerequisite knowledge required.
