DLC Working Group Seeks Volunteers

The Depository Library Council’s (DLC) Exploring the Durability of PURLs and Their Alternatives Working Group seeks volunteers from the depository community to participate in a focus group.

The Working Group is charged with:

  • Investigating the durability of PURLs.
  • Identifying and researching PURL alternatives.
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to the DLC for consideration.

As part of this work, we invite you to participate in one of our focus groups so that we may learn of stakeholders' needs and which persistent digital identifiers might meet those needs. This will inform the Working Group as it considers recommendations to the DLC.

Focus groups are expected to take about an hour of your time and will be held in February 2021. If you would be willing to answer a few questions, or share your thoughts about PURLs or other schemas, please use this form to register to participate by January 29, 2021
