Reminder: Complete the DLC Survey on Fugitive Documents by August 7, 2020

The Depository Library Council’s (DLC) Digital Deposit Working Group (DDWG) is gearing up to implement its pilot project. The pilot will examine how fugitive documents are found, what is done with them once they are discovered, and how more effective deposit of this information with the U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) can be accomplished, so that fugitives may be cataloged and disseminated to Federal depository libraries.

To begin, the DDWG invites you to complete a short survey so that we might learn of your experiences with finding and reporting fugitive documents. The end of the survey offers you an opportunity to volunteer to work with the DDWG as focus group participants, or as hunters of fugitive documents. This pilot will culminate with a report and recommendations for DLC consideration at its Spring 2021 Virtual Meeting.

Please submit your survey by August 7, 2020. Should you have any questions as you consider participation, please This email address is being protected from spambots.
