Introducing Census 2020 Resources for FDLP Libraries

The 2020 Census counts the population in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and five U.S. territories. The count is mandated by the Constitution and conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau. By April 1, 2020, every home will receive an invitation to participate in the 2020 Census.

FDLP libraries are certain to receive many questions about the 2020 Census from nationwide patrons. GPO has compiled some excellent sources of information to help.

  • 10 educational/promotional materials available for free to all Federal depository libraries:
    • Census 2020 Confidentiality (poster)
    • Census 101 (brochure)
    • Census 101 (SPANISH)(brochure)
