New E-mail Option for Microfiche Claims

Effective immediately, FDLP Libraries may submit microfiche claims directly to the contractor DMI via e-mail. There are now three options for submitting claims:

  • E-mail to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
  • Fax to: (302) 656-1169
  • Regular mail to:
  • Data Management Internationale, Inc
    55 Lukens Drive
    New Castle, DE 19720

The e-mail address will appear on microfiche shipping lists beginning with 2018-0076-M.

When claiming materials appearing on a shipping list, claims must be made within 60 days of the receipt of the shipment. When filing a claim for missing publications, please circle on the shipping list what is missing and mail, fax, or scan and e-mail the list to DMI using the contacts above.

When e-mailing without a scanned shipping list, please include the shipping list number, item number, classification number, and title of the material being claimed. You may also use the e-mail address to file claims for publications that are directly mailed without shipping lists (Daily Congressional Record, Federal Register, and List of CFR Sections Affected). Always include your depository library number with every claim.

This applies to all microfiche currently produced by DMI which covers the following programs:

  • Congressional hearings, documents, prints, and reports (Program 562-S): various item numbers
