  • Learning outcomes: With the abundance of online and print Government information resources, libraries should carefully manage both their older depository collection and planned future collection. This webinar provides an overview of considerations for selective depository libraries moving toward an all-digital or mostly digital depository library collection.

    An associated webcast (coming soon) will be referred to in the webinar. In the webcast, viewers can watch a demonstration of how to:

    • Review your item selection profile by format
    • Use Documents Data Miner 2 (DDM2) to identify relevant online or digital resources for your depository collection
    • Use DDM2 and/or the New Electronic Titles List (NET) to identify newer relevant online or digital resources for your depository collection Other helpful DDM2 features demonstrated will be the List of Classes, looking at an item selection profile, and working with the Shelflist tool.
  • Expected level of knowledge for participants: No prerequisite knowledge required, but participants are encouraged to read the All or Mostly Online Federal Depository Libraries guidance article before attending the webinar.
