Meet with GPO at the American Library Association’s Annual Conference, 2023

Staff members from GPO’s Library Services & Content Management (LSCM) will be joined by Superintendent of Documents Scott Matheson at the American Library Association’s Annual Conference in Chicago, Illinois, from June 22 – 27, 2023. GPO is hosting a special event for the FDLP community in conjunction with the conference, and we would love to see you there.

  • 9:15 a.m.   Updates from the SuDoc (same presentation both times)
  • 10:00 a.m. Focus Group with LSCM Staff
  • 11:00 a.m. Drop-in Office Hours with LSCM Staff
  • 1:00 p.m.   Focus Group with LSCM Staff
  • 2:30 p.m.   Updates from the SuDoc (same presentation both times)
  • 4:00 p.m.   Focus Group with LSCM Staff
  • 5:00 p.m. Drop-in Office Hours with LSCM Staff

Updates from the SuDoc:

Join Superintendent of Documents Scott Matheson to learn about updates on projects and initiatives underway at GPO. Join Mr. Matheson for a chat at 9:00 a.m. and to hear updates at 9:15 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. If you would like to participate in one of the two update sessions, please complete the registration form.

Focus Groups (Registration Required):

Focus groups will be held at 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m., to gather input and feedback on the needs of depository libraries within a digital FDLP.

A limited number of spots are available and are open to all depository library staff. Coordinators, please encourage your colleagues who work with digital collections, services, and systems to attend as well.   

Additional virtual focus groups will be held later this summer. 

Register by June 12, 2023, to participate.

Drop-in Office Hours with LSCM Staff:

LSCM staff members will be onsite and eager to chat with you to answer questions and  consult on your FDLP needs. Stop in and see us anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
