2012 Annual Interagency Depository Seminar Summary

The 25th annual Interagency Depository Seminar was held at the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) headquarters in Washington, DC.

Experts from Federal Government agencies presented an in-depth look at the many Federal information products and services available. Participants had the unique opportunity to learn about multiple Federal resources while exchanging ideas with colleagues, agency representatives, and GPO staff in educational sessions, informational presentations, and onsite tours. Past presentations have included content from Federal agencies such as the U.S. Census Bureau, the Office of the Federal Register, the U.S. Government Accountability Office, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, as well as sessions on GPO products and services.

Though the target audience is for new Federal Depository Library Program coordinators, the seminar also provided updates and training to those with experience in the Program. Topics covered were particularly relevant to those who work in a Federal information environment.
