FDLP

57. Tangible Substitution

Regional depository libraries are permitted to substitute tangible versions of depository material with another tangible format; they are not permitted to substitute tangible versions of depository material with electronic versions. When choosing to substitute depository material with an alternate tangible format, the needs of the state or region and the comprehensiveness of the FDLP collection should be kept in mind.
