This webinar explores the realm of technical reports – the results of scientific, engineering, and business research done by Government agency in-house experts and consultants. A report can include analysis, recommendations, and a detailed executive summary of a timely issue, emerging topic, or critical problem. Free access is available to many of the reports in databases from Federal agencies such as NASA, the National Technical Information Service (NTIS), Department of Defense, and Department of Energy. Digitization efforts such as TRAIL and HathiTrust can provide access to earlier material. We cover the key databases and share search tips so that you and your users can discover the wealth of information hidden in this important resource.
