GPO congratulates Elizabeth Lee Barron of the University of Tampa - Macdonald-Kelce Library, on her upcoming retirement after 25 years in Government documents. Elizabeth worked in the Republic of the Marshall Islands at the Nuclear Claims Tribunal in the early 1990s on the aftereffects of the U.S. nuclear weapons testing program and was a Florence Tan Moesen fellow at the Library of Congress in 2010. Thank you for your dedication to the FDLP, Elizabeth!

Bill Sudduth served on the DLC from 2004 – 2007 and as Chair from 2006-2007. He still currently serves as the Head of Government Information and Maps at the University of South Carolina, and currently he is working with faculty in the UofSC School of Social Work and UGA on a systematic review of the “definition of smart home” and “what constitutes a smart home.” Bill has served as the Parliamentarian for Faculty Senate since 2014.

Get ready for Constitution Day (September 17, 2021) with downloadable resources from GPO. This year, 232 orders came into GPO for Pocket Constitutions, and over 20,000 free copies are being distributed throughout the U.S.
