Categories: Webinar

Publishing high quality data while protecting the privacy of respondents are dual mandates for the U.S. Census Bureau. As the result of increasing computing power and access to individual data from third parties, the Bureau is adopting a new algorithm, based on differential privacy, to protect respondent privacy. This session will cover the new algorithm, its impact on published data, and what librarians should know.
