Plan now to attend the Spring 2010 Depository Library Council meeting. It will be held in Buffalo, NY, at the Adam’s Mark Hotel, from April 26 through 28. The Council meeting is free and open to the public. Registration for the meeting and for the hotel is now open. Advance registration is important, as it provides us with the information necessary to make this meeting productive and enjoyable for you. So please register as early as possible.
The 15-member Council discusses issues affecting the Federal Depository Library Program and assists the GPO in identifying and evaluating alternatives for improving public access to government information. Educational programs will be running concurrently to Council sessions as well. GPO also is accepting proposals for educational sessions, particularly on new technologies impacting government information access and on practical aspects of depository library management.
For more information and to register, go to the events page on the FDLP Desktop.
