This module is written for Regional libraries or library partners in a shared Regional system. Questions about the depository publication withdrawal process established in the state or region, as well as the services offered to libraries within the region can be found here. These questions are specific to regionals and supplement questions found in other modules.

How your library chooses to address the questions within this module is a local determination. There may be several different, but perfectly acceptable, answers to the same question, especially given that different Regional depository libraries serve different numbers and types of selective depository libraries in each state or region. Guidance for evaluating your own responses is highlighted within various sections and also summarized at the end of the module. The questions address situations at many libraries; however, there may be additional or unique Regional situations at your library(ies) that you are encouraged to consider in your overall review of the topics covered in the module.
