From Monday, July 30, 2012 To Friday, August 03, 2012
The 25th annual Interagency Depository Seminar will be held at the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) headquarters in Washington, DC, from July 30 to August 3, 2012.
Experts from Federal Government agencies will present an in-depth look at the many Federal information products and services available. Participants have the unique opportunity to learn about multiple Federal resources while exchanging ideas with colleagues, agency representatives, and GPO staff in educational sessions, informational presentations, and onsite tours. Past presentations have included content from Federal agencies such as the U.S. Census Bureau, the Office of the Federal Register, the U.S. Government Accountability Office, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, as well as sessions on GPO products and services.
Though the target audience is for new Federal Depository Library Program coordinators, the seminar also provides updates and training to those with experience in the Program. Topics covered are particularly relevant to those who work in a Federal information environment.
There is no fee to attend the seminar; however, advance registration is required. Attendees are responsible for their own expenses for travel, lodging, and meals. Updates will be posted here and through our news alerts.
