Depository libraries that have a library Web page or site must identify themselves as a Federal depository library on their Web page or site by displaying the FDLP logo, provide the statutory language found on the FDLP decal, or otherwise identify the library as a public access point for FDLP material. Statutory language found on the FDLP decal currently states,"This library is a congressionally designated depository for U.S. Government documents. Public access to the government documents collection is guaranteed by public law. (Title 44 United States Code)".
