How to Participate in GPO's Digitization Efforts PDF Print E-mail
Written on Monday, 06 July 2009

GPO wants to hear about the digitization projects underway at your library, or about any ideas your library may have for a digitization project, that include Federal publications. It is GPO’s goal to work with members of the Federal depository library community, Federal agencies, and other institutions to digitize and make accessible the tangible legacy collection of U.S. Government publications.

The first step to participating in this effort is to let GPO know what your library is working on by including your digitization projects in the Registry of U.S. Government Publications Digitization Projects. You can also search the Registry to find out what other libraries are digitizing and to find possible partners for a collaborative project.

The next step is to consider partnering with GPO to make the content you digitize more widely available. If you have a project that you would like to talk with GPO about, complete the partnership inquiry form and GPO's partnership coordinator will contact you. To learn more about how to become a partner and see the list of current partners, visit the partnership page.
