Partial Revert of Bulk Modified PURLs

In January 2011, the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) bulk modified PURLs to point from GPO Access to the FDsys equivalent since FDsys is GPO’s official system of record. Over the past few months, the library community has been reporting discrepancies with some new PURL target URLs pointing to FDsys. Consequently, GPO has reverted PURLs that originally pointed to GPO Access WAIS documents (http://frwebgate.access.gpo.gov/*) while we investigate the issue. Once the issues have been resolved, the PURLs will again be modified to point to the FDsys equivalent, and the community will be notified.
