With the 112th Congress, committees from the U.S. House of Representatives have been created, discontinued, or names have been changed.

New: Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence

Discontinued: Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming

Name Change:

The House Committee on Education and Labor has changed to the House Committee on Education and the Workforce.
The House Committee on Standards of Official Conduct has changed to the House Committee on Ethics.
The House Committee on Science and Technology has changed to the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.

As a result, Superintendent of Documents (SuDoc) classes and item numbers are currently being reviewed. Changes will be reflected in WebTech Notes, the Catalog of Government Publications (CGP), and the List of Classes.
